Hi
Is there a simple way to make a simple floor tile surface.  In other programs I can add a color or a jpg to the"tile" slot and a color to the "joint" slot and then define the repeat of the pattern.  I can make 3" wood planking or 4 x 4 inch wall tile simply.

How do I do the same in Vray.  I've got a wood pattern, but I need to put joint lines to make it look like boat decking.

Thanks
chuck

are you using 1.48? (i don't think this is available in 1.05, though could be wrong) - add a texGrid map in your diffuse layer. you can control line thickness, line & tile color, etc. with the different parameters.

you can add the same as your bump or disp map, maybe with a little blur.
